Recipe for Stress Relief: Smell the flower + blow out the candle

Well the time has come for my baby girl to officially be a toddler.  

In the last week she finally gave up the bottle and moved on from diapers.  She loves learning and likes to sing the alphabet and practice her numbers. She's got her own yoga mat and likes to down dog on the fly. And in a few days she'll be 2 years old!!! OMG!!! 

And just as a toddler should, she likes to practice using her voice and asserting her independence. Sometimes she gets frustrated when things don't go her way (like most of us),  but we have a new breathing technique that really helps! I actually learned it from one of my yoga students who works with children. It's called "Smell the flower + blow out the candle." Good for kids and grown-ups alike. And you can do it anytime, anywhere.
